Providing Reiki to people and their pets

Reiki is an ancient Eastern healing modality which assists with stress reduction and relaxation Reiki is "Universal Energy" channelled through the practitioner's hands, opening the body's energy channels. There are seven chakras (energy channels) for both humans and animals.
The idea to treat people and their pets came to me because I have seen just how much people love their pets. To many, having a pet is like having a child. Pet owners love their pets so much, and want the very best for them. I can provide Reiki to the person or to the pet. Or, you might consider having a combined Reiki session, where I provide Reiki to both. The latter might be a cost effective way for both to receive Reiki, as I would provide a 20-minute session to your pet for an additional $10.00, instead of the usual $20.00 fee. A healthy pet makes the owner happy, just as a healthy owner makes one's pet happy.
When one or more of the chakras is out of sync, the body responds in a negative manner, making you ill. You need not believe in Reiki for it to work, and Reiki is not a religion. Reiki is performed hands on or with hands placed just above the fully clothed body.
Some of the conditions treated with Reiki:
1. headaches, muscle aches, and other chronic issues
2. relieves the side effects of radiation and chemo therapy for cancer patients
3. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder,
4. anxiety and other stress-related diseases
5. post-surgical pain, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease
Reiki should not, however, be used on individuals with pacemakers and broken bones, during the healing process. Traditional medical treatment should not be ignored, as Reiki is to be used IN CONJUNCTION WITH medical treatment.
